your best christmas-gift

Post by bat on Thu Dec 31, 2009 4:15 am

Ok - christmas is over - thank god, we survived it Wink - Now i wonder, what you all got for christmas. What was your best gift. What made the greatest joy?

For me, it was a new watch. Im getting older, and could allmost no longer read the pointer on the old one. Embarassed -- but with the new, this is possible again! Im realy happy! santa

I had lots of nice presents

My favourite? Hard to decide

I got a tenor recorder ... I love to play that. It sounds so nice.

I also got the Guild Wars expansion pack. That is great! I love that game.

But also best of all is all the people who have no imagination and gave me cash ...... i bought a refurbished PC base unit. It's got a good motherboard and processor but will need more RAM and possibly an upgraded graphics card, but at least it is better than the machine i am using.

Also some great books to read and some very nice CD's to add to my mp3 player.

I allmost cant tell you, how much fun we have in Guild War. Everyone who is not playing it, realy misses something!!

The games are unbeliveable dramatic! Every day, we find huge new places and new enemies and new challenges. The landscape changes very much. And the possibility to go trough this all with a friend ... ore even several friends, is great.

Of corse a "role play game" is different from a "first person shooter" - but you should not think, that we play theater there. I mean, if you play halo, your also in a "role". And instead of just point and klick on someone, you have to do different things, to get an attac trough.

Nick and George (yes Smile - its realy him) said, they might try it ... so dont loose the contact!!

oh wow! Thats the first time i have seen my pet fight! Usually i'm too busy protecting the monk from attack. I just click on a monster for my pet to attack and then change target to attack a monster that is attacking the monk, leaving the pet to help Alex and the other team members.

I am really looking forward to getting my new pc. Hopefully xfire will work in game then. Then i will take videos and screenies too

Post by Ruwaa on Wed Jan 13, 2010 10:57 am

Hi all,

I really didn't get anything for Christmas, it was a poor one. The good news is that both my children (two boys) stated that it was the best ever....WTF??? go figure....
