Play windows games on a mac (inc pc versions of halo)
I was wandering around the interwebs this afternoon and found something that could prove incredibly useful for people who own macs (Intel-based).
It's called CrossOver Games and is a piece of software that you install on your Intel-based mac, and it lets you play a selection of windows games.
Halo and HaloCE are officially unsupported, but has bee reported to work with this system:
Halo: http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name?app_id=1456
HaloCE: http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name?app_id=5759
Jade Dynasty, Perfect World and Call Of Duty 2 are officially supported, as well as one of my fav games, Half-Life2: Episode 2.
The downside to this is that the trial version only lasts for 7 days, after that you are asked to pay £26 to register the software. I havent used it myself yet, but am thinking of doing so.
PS - if this is in the wrong section, please move it, as I couldnt find an appropriate section to post in.
