NEW CRYSIS 2 SERVER

okay that game may be quite tricky for me to track down
i say this because my computer isnt really that great for games that have been released resently e.g. Fallout 3 doesnt work no matter how i try and change the settings on my pc and GTA IV doesnt work either si unless it is a XP game e.g. Guildwars. i shall look for it and see wether it will work on my PC but if it doesnt then i cant join

i managed to track down and buy Crysis 2 but as i said in my eirlier post it doesnt really work very well
everytime i started it it kept telling me that my sound or Video card is unsupported
i managed 2 get on but i lagged a lot on the server
i dnt no wether its due 2 using a 360 controller or sommat else but i really liked the look of the game
it is just a shame that my pc dnt like it

Fingers crossed that my lappy is up to the job. Its a quite new and pimped Dell Precision M6400. I'll let you know how i get on.

well my laptop is a dell inspiron so it is quite new
the only problem is is that it is the student package version so its kinda rubbish
as i said it does play but its like the gane is to fast 4 the pc

Well, posting specific specs of your system would be useful, processor speed, memory, graphics card, sound card etc...

I know for a fact I can not run Crysis 2 as I'm running on an AXP 3200+ 2.4ghz single core.

At a push I rekkon I can run Crysis 1 but no way can I run Crysis 2. On another note, does anyone play SA:MP? (GTA San Andreas Multiplayer Mod)

i used 2 as u may remember but i havent installed GTA SA on my new pc

Not realy, Mark. I played crysis1 trough but did not continue to play it. My computer was strong enough to play it, but somehow i did not fall in love with the game. And i think that it requires too much resources. Other games do not look worse but can be played on every comp. I think this is a sign, that the game is not realy good programed. Maybe in crysis 2 everything is better .... but i guess: no.

... and there is still so much to do for me in GW1, that i have no time to play an other game; every day im there ... I guess as long as DTK will not play GW, we will not be able to meet again - in other words: never.

But i wish everone fun and good times with the new game and especially Pat: good luck with the server. I hope for you, that it will reach a high ranking.

I've been thinking about getting Crysis 1, maybe if I get used to the control system we could have a game on that?

Crysis 1 don't have mutltiplayer mod Nick, just Crysis 2 got it.

Then , it's just possible on crysis 2 to play together.

Ok I have the game. Not realy played it yet but it seems to run fine for me. Phew.

What the programmers did not do on making the game less spec heavy they spent on environments. It looks sweet!

James I get graphic card not supported also, but at the moment it seems fine.

Just trying to find a place to hide before Pats back. Some one mentioned the game is over run with aliens!

Just getting to grips with the game here. Dam where did last night go. Played untill 3am.

Ive been told that if i want to play Crisis 2 with out any problems then my best bet is to buy a new computer so that it will work properly
my computer that i have is good but apparently due to the fact that it is a laptop i cannot upgrade the graphics card etc.

James, I hope you can buy a new PC soon and if you want continue to play different games, don't get a laptop because like you said, it's really difficult(almost impossible) to upgrade it .

Yes, I've grown to really like this game. I haven't put on my DTK tags until I started to kick some butt....so they are on now....I'm at level 47....let me know what weapon and nanosuit config. your using....
