These 2 bring back memories. Way back in history when I was young, a friend persuaded me to be his partner in an amateur ballroom dancing competition. Neither of us had done any dancing before and we had three weeks to prepare and learn four dances. The waltz, the foxtrot, the jive, and cha cha cha.

We both had a friend who took dancing lessons and everyday before school, in our lunchbreak and after school and all weekend for three weeks we learnt and practised.

We had problems keeping time to the traditional music at first, so our friend taught us the jive to Wake me up before you go go and the cha cha to When the going gets tough. Both were popular songs at the time.

So the big night came and we knew that the other contestants had been practising for more than 6 months, so we felt a bit out of our depths. One of the judges (although we didn't know it at the time) was Len Goodman, now famous as a judge on UK TV show Strictly Come Dancing.
Anyway all our hard work paid off we came third with a comment from Les that my firend and I should carry on dancing together as he was really inpressed with what we achieved in 3 weeks.

sigh.....

...Ahh Fluffs favourite cheesy song lol.

Now its the weekend this one for Sparky lol.....
